The Project
To the Edge of the World with RIGA-13
My name is Reinis Felders and I’m from Latvia 🇱🇻. I’m preparing for an unusual adventure — a roughly two-week journey by moped to the northernmost point in Europe: North Cape, Norway.
The moped is a Rīga 13 — a Soviet-era machine around 40 years old. Last year I rode the same moped from Gulbene, Latvia through Estonia and back. That adventure reached nearly 400,000 views on TikTok in a single week.
This year the challenge is bigger: harsher (winter) conditions, a distance four times longer (~1,500 km), and a true test of endurance for both man and machine.
Departure: 29th April — Starting point: Rovaniemi, Finland (Santa Claus Village)
Santa Claus Village
Northbound on E75 — Finland's main road north
71°10′N — edge of the world
Southbound — retracing the same road back
Back to Santa Claus Village
Support the journey
The best way to support this trip is to grab a piece of Rīga 13 merch. Every purchase helps keep the old Soviet moped rolling toward Nordkapp — and back. Hoodies, caps, and tees available at ridzina.lv.

No merch? Just buy me a coffee — every cup fuels the moped.
